How can we help?
Answers about our programs, pricing, eligibility, safety, and how online care with US-licensed clinicians actually works. Pick a topic to jump in.
General
Who we are, how the platform works, and the human behind every decision.
What is DirectCare AI?
DirectCare AI is a direct-to-patient telehealth platform that connects you with US-licensed clinicians for personalized, clinician-prescribed protocols across weight loss, hormones, sexual health, hair regrowth, supplements, and blood labs. Technology helps with access, education, and coordination — but a licensed human clinician makes every clinical decision.
Does the AI make medical decisions?
No. Our technology supports navigation, monitoring, education, documentation, and coordination of your care. A US-licensed human clinician reviews your file and makes every diagnostic and treatment decision.
Is DirectCare AI legitimate?
Yes. DirectCare AI is LegitScript-certified and HIPAA-compliant. Every protocol is prescribed by a US-licensed clinician, and medications are prepared by US-licensed pharmacies. You can verify our LegitScript certification at legitscript.com.
Where is DirectCare AI based?
DirectCare AI operates in the United States and serves patients nationwide where state law permits.
Programs & Treatments
HRT, TRT, weight loss, sexual health, hair, supplements, and labs — and how each plan is built around you.
What programs does DirectCare AI offer?
We offer hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for women, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for men, compounded GLP-1 weight loss (semaglutide and tirzepatide), sexual health, hair regrowth for men and women, physician-formulated supplements, and comprehensive blood-lab panels.
How is treatment personalized to me?
Every plan starts with your real information — your intake, your symptoms and history, and (where relevant) your bloodwork. A US-licensed clinician reviews it and builds a protocol around your numbers, rather than routing you to a one-size-fits-all template.
Do I need bloodwork to start?
It depends on the program. Bloodwork is not always required, but it is often recommended and is especially important for safely dosing hormones and testosterone. Our 80+ biomarker panel is available to order and comes with a plain-English roadmap from a clinician.
Can my partner and I both sign up?
Yes. Each person is treated as an individual patient with their own intake, their own clinician review, and their own protocol. There is no shared account — care is personalized to each person.
Getting Started
From the free 5-minute intake to medication shipped discreetly to your door.
How do I get started?
Take the free 5-minute eligibility check for the program you're interested in. A US-licensed clinician reviews your file (typically within 24-48 hours), and if you qualify and decide to start, your medication ships from a US-licensed pharmacy.
How long does the intake take?
The initial eligibility check takes about 5 minutes. Clinician review usually completes within 24-48 hours of submitting your intake.
What happens after I sign up?
You complete your intake, optionally add bloodwork, and a US-licensed clinician reviews everything. If approved, your protocol is prescribed and your medication is shipped discreetly to your door. You can message your care team through the patient portal between visits.
Can I message my clinician between visits?
Yes. Your DirectCare AI patient portal includes secure asynchronous messaging with your care team for side-effect questions, dose adjustments, and routine refills — at no extra cost.
Cost & Insurance
Why we're cash-pay, what programs cost, and how HSA/FSA works.
Does DirectCare AI take insurance?
No — DirectCare AI is cash-pay and does not require insurance or referrals. Many patients find the total monthly cost lower than the copays and lab fees they would pay going through insurance.
How much do programs cost?
Pricing depends on the program and the protocol your clinician prescribes. The eligibility check and clinician review are always free — you only pay if you qualify and decide to start. Current pricing is shown on each program's page before you commit.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. We provide itemized receipts compatible with HSA, FSA, and other reimbursement programs.
Are there hidden fees or surprise charges?
No. We display pricing before you submit any order, and we do not charge hidden fees or auto-renewals you have not affirmatively opted into. You are notified in advance of any price change affecting an active protocol.
Safety & Eligibility
State availability, who qualifies, and what to do in an emergency.
Is DirectCare AI available in my state?
DirectCare AI connects patients with US-licensed clinicians and serves patients throughout the United States. Treatment is only available where state law permits; your eligibility is confirmed during the intake review.
Who is not a candidate for treatment?
Eligibility depends on the program and your medical history. Each program screens for contraindications during intake — for example, certain hormone-sensitive cancers, blood clots, or pregnancy may rule out specific therapies. A clinician reviews every file before prescribing.
What if I'm not approved or a program isn't right for me?
If a program isn't appropriate for you, the clinician may recommend alternatives. The intake is free and you don't pay unless you start a protocol.
What should I do in a medical emergency?
DirectCare AI does not handle medical emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing one, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Medications & the FDA
Compounded medications, our pharmacy partners, and FDA status — explained plainly.
Are DirectCare AI's medications FDA-approved?
Some protocols use compounded medications. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They are prepared by US-licensed compounding pharmacies and prescribed by a US-licensed clinician based on an individual medical evaluation.
Where do the medications come from?
DirectCare AI does not manufacture or compound medications. We partner with multiple US-licensed compounding pharmacies. Because we work with more than one pharmacy, the packaging, label, vial shape, or color you receive may differ from the imagery shown on the site.
Will my medication look like the pictures on the site?
Not necessarily. All product, model, and lifestyle imagery on the site is for illustrative purposes only. Because we work with multiple US-licensed pharmacies, your medication's packaging and appearance may differ from what's shown.
Privacy & Your Data
How we protect your information under HIPAA and how to access your records.
Is my information private?
Yes. DirectCare AI is HIPAA-compliant. Your personal health information is kept private and shared only with people directly involved in your care, with your authorization, or where required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I access my medical records?
Yes. You can access, review, and request copies of your records — including intake history, clinician notes, prescriptions, and lab results — through your patient portal, and request a transfer to another provider.
